Synopsis:

"Years ago while I was praying, I surprised myself by saying ‘Lord, give me words.’ It seemed to come from the depths of my heart. I had no idea what I was going to do with those words once I got them; but He knew. He answered my prayers and gave me words, words in the form of poetry."
  - Norma Ching, author

"Tender and powerful, sweet and strong, humble and bold. These writings not only reveal the heart of the Master, they also reveal the heart of the servant."
  - Leon Siu, musician and composer

"From the Master’s Heart is more that a collection of rhythmical sayings; rather it is precious moments shared from heart to heart."
  - Pastor Klayton Ko, First Assembly of God

About the Author:

Born and raised in Holualoa, Hawaii, Norma Ching spent twenty five years with the Department of Education as a kindergarten, first grade, and reading teacher. Through the years, her faith has served as the foundation and inspiration for her poetry and From the Master’s Heart is a loving collection of some of her writings.

About the Artist:

The son of Norma Ching, renowned wildlife and nature artist Patrick Ching contributes the paintings and illustrations that accompany his mother’s poetry. A former ranger for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, a rodeo bull rider, expert horseman, and avid outdoorsman, Patrick’s masterful renderings of flora and fauna are the result of direct experience and observation. In 1996 he and his family opened Naturally Hawaiian Gallery & Gifts in Waimanalo, Hawaii.
