One Groove, by way of the 50th state, has been labeled by many as the Bay Area's premier island reggae band taking California by storm. Silky smooth harmonies combined with a ragamuffin style and backed by an experienced crew of musicians, the sky is definitely the limit for this group of seven. One Groove has played alongside many of Hawaii's top recording artist such as Fiji, Natural Vibrations, Three Plus, Ho'onu'a, Mana'o Company and has shared the stage with reggae legends Third World and Mutaburuka just to name a few.

Now entering their fifth year together, One Groove is taking their music to the next level with the release of their debut CD entitled "Make Your Move" - ten solid tracks of material ranging from lover's rock, roots, dancehall and everything in between. This is island reggae with mainstream sensibility.

"Make Your Move" was recorded and mixed by Chris Cortez of the Bay Area roots-reggae band Native Elements and by Dave Meyer (DJ for KMEL, San Francisco's premier hip-hop/R&B radio station). All music written & arranged by One Groove.
