About the CD
It's been three years since the release of Kohomua's first
album entitled REGGAE REGGAE MUSIC. This album introduced their
great vocals and catchy sound to the music lovers of Hawaii. And
now they are back with their second release, THE NEW
CHAPTER. If the first album was their introduction,
this album will get you into the heart of Kohomua's story.
The moving vocals of David Bailey and Tano Haupu are enhanced by
the addition of female vocalist Kona Pokipala. The growth of
this band both musically and creatively is shown by the 10
original tracks on this album written and arranged by various
members of the band.
There are two cover songs on this album, Human Nature,
which was made famous by Michael Jackson and a UB40 song
Dream A Lie. The original songs range from Don't Fall
Down, a positive uplifting song from Tano to a beautiful
love song by David titled Unconditionally. David also
adds a touching song for his son Noah. There is a great variety
of music delivered in the album, it will entertain and uplift
you.
Kohomua means "First Choice" in Hawaiian and this album should
be the first choice to add to any island music fans collection.
