The album entitled, "From the Top", is produced and engineered by Na Hoku Hanohano award-winner

"From the Top" is a fusion of island contemporary, R&B, jazz, and reggae with seven original
compositions and three covers. These include "Sometimes When We Touch" by Kenny Loggins, "All Out of Love"
by Air Supply, and "Love Explosion" by Japanese Dub.
Among the seven original compositions, "Sweetest Times" is about the good old days. The song reminisces about the friends they
made in high school and the carefree times they spent together.
"Daydream Lady", another original, talks about the perfect woman in a dream combining R&B with an island feel.
Also included in the album is a soothing instrumental piece called "Baby Steps".
The multi-talented five-member act comes from different musical backgrounds. When you see First Verse live,
you’re in for a treat of top 40, jazz, funk, rock, and reggae. Currently, First Verse performs at Osake Sushi Bar
and Lounge, Ige’s Restaurant, and OnStage Drinks and Grinds.
