Ledward who was born and raised from the famous black sand beaches of Kalapana on the Big Island streamed through his music career
being a member of the legendary group "Hui Ohana" and then the group "Ikona".
With his musical notability, Ledward recently acquired a 2006 Grammy Award nomination under the Hawaiian Music category for his album
entitled "Ledward Ka‘apana Ki ho‘alu - Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar".
