Frank Hewett - biography

Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett has only good memories of his childhood days growing up in the countryside of Käne‘ohe. There were happy times and sad times, there was laughter and play as well as hardship and work. But, there was always time to sit and listen to a good story as told by one of his küpuna in that special way that kept you captivated and wanting to hear more. Stories of myth and magic of days long gone by. Stories of the Akua, the ‘aumakua, the kahuna and Pele were always exhilarating. He could never get enough of listening to the küpuna tell their stories.
